Examine proposals, blueprints & specifications to determine the scope & duration of work necessary for electrical construction projects. Confer/negotiate with subcontractors, vendors and suppliers using local expertise to estimate costs for bid proposals. Create a strategic project plan from estimates; define tasks, schedules and necessary personnel. Visit job sites to assess progress, maintain logs, troubleshoot problems and evaluate work. Prepare material orders and other documentation.
Our preferred candidate will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus continued education, or equivalent work experience. 3 to 5 years’ similar experience in a fast-paced environment in an industrial. Municipal, water & wastewater, electrical engineering, contracting or construction organization.
Ability to identify and complete critical tasks
Ability to handle multiple projects with multiple tasks.
Ability to engage with a variety of personality types.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proactive team player with the ability to be flexible.
Working knowledge of MS Office Applications and Web-based systems.
